NON-SLUDGE BIOLOGICAL PROCESS
The RBM is a conventional reactor in which the current is crossed by submerged membranes supporting the biological matter. A microbial food chain forms where the active sludge on the primary level feed the micro organisms on the next level. The purpose is to not produce active sludge. This pilot system is being put into operation at the wastewater treatment plant we are operating in Miranda de Ebro. This type plant is expected to be a perfect solution for small towns where the low maintenance cost is a determining factor.
